The holes in detailEngineer Piero Mancinelli was chosen for the design of the golf course and in 1962 the first nine holes were completed, followed by the second nine holes three years later. In 1989 he was asked to up-date and modernize the course which was achieved in 2007.
The terrain of the course is naturally ondulating, pleasant and at the same time delicate with the holes designed to wind through a patrimony of 10,000 botanical specimens. The fairways are inserted in a thick growth of mature trees.
Hole 1: Liquidabandar

Hole 3: Tiglio

There is an elevated tee-off. A well-struck tee shot is required to avoid the two fairway sand bunkers, an accurate second shot will save from treacherous sand bunkers short of the green. There’s a slightly elevated green which is well guarded. Out-of-bounds on both sides of the course.
Hole 4: Farnia

There is a slightly left side dog-leg, with out-of bounds on both sides of the course flanked by trees; the centre of the fairway is a wise place to find , since there are two sand bunkers on the tee shot landing area. The green is guarded by series of sand bunkers on the sides and short of.
Hole 5: Abete Rosso

The left side dog-leg flanked by trees and the out-of-bounds on both sides, make of this course a challenging one. The tee shot down to the left side will surely find the narrow fairway among the three sand bunkers. There is a large sand bunker on the left side of the fairway situated 60 meters short of the green, and then find a large and long green, with a deep hollow at the ending.
Hole 6: Liriodendro

A hole with out-of-bounds on both sides and beyond the green. This is a three levels green well protected by sand bunkers.
Hole 7: Carpino Bianco

A difficult and spectacular left side dog-leg flanked by trees with out-of-bounds on both sides. This uphill green is considered the most difficult of the course.
Hole 8: Castagno

Hole 11: Cedro dell'Atlante

This is longest hole of the whole course, with a slightly dog-leg towards the left at first part of the hole. The tee shot will be treacherous by the three bunkers situated on the right side, because it leans towards the right of the fairway. The second shot is hindered either from a great cedar located in the middle of the fairway, and by the out-of-bounds along the right side. There is a narrow green guarded by sand bunkers on the sides and beyond it.Watch the video

A left side dog-leg characterized by the trees flanked on both sides, which requires an accurate driver tee shot, due to the uphill fairway.
